I am also a 53 year old grandmother. I have 3 grandchildren: twin boys, age 9, and a 9 month old granddaughter. Expecting another in early Oct. They are the light of our lives.
Love, love, love the boot quilt. My sister, who is 10 years younger, was BORN A HORSE. She would die for a quilt like that!
