After 10 years of teaching school and 9 1/2 of them a Forbes Elementary Amy was nominated as teacher of the year at her school, receiving the Golden Apple Award through American Fork PTA Council. This is the luncheon where each school recipient was honored. Being the Region Director for all of Alpine School District PTA's I was able to be in attendance to see my wonderful daughter receive this well deserved honor.
